 What you would be doing:

  • Bookkeeping: Making journal entries, entering transactions in appropriate accounts (vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, deposits); bank reconciliations, payroll, and compiling monthly financial statements while corresponding directly with assigned clients

  • Accounting: Reviewing transactions and financials, working with the team and clients to forecast cash flows, financial projections, and develop goals and objectives with the client. Comparing and consulting to industry best practices, controls, processes, and compliance. Certain year-end or periodic reporting required, such as income tax material preparation assistance, 1099 filing, payroll compliance, and on occasion, audit or insurance compliance reporting.
